WebDec 31, 2024 · Reading XML in octave can be achieved using the java library Apache Xerces. It seems that the Matlab's xmlread is just a thin wrapper around the Apache Xerces library. One should note however, that Java functions have the working directory set to the working directory when octave starts and the working directory is not modified by a cd in octave. WebJun 16, 2024 · @Mark Golberg - yeah, that isn't all that clear on how to easily manipulate the xml object. You may want to consider, from the File Exchange, xml2struct and then struct2xml. You could perhaps manipulate the struct to add the new data (or remove the old) and then write back to the xml file. I think that would be easier.
